Natural Green Marinade


All-Natural Mama Jacq’s premium marinade and cooking sauce. Can be used to marinate meat, fish or tofu. Can be used to add extra flavour to Soup, Gravy or Broth. Free from any artificial preservatives and flavours.

This product was made using only vegetables and is preserved using the perfect vinegar and salt balance.

Ingredients: Onion 37%, Coriander 24%, Spring Onion 15%, Cider Vinegar 10%, garlic 5%, Ginger 5%, Scotch bonnet pepper 2%, Salt 1%, Clove 1%

Mama’s Suggested Recipe

Chickpea curry


    • Chickpeas
    • Vegetable stock cubes
    • Onions
    • Garlic
    • Curry powder
    • Salt and Black pepper
    • Potato
    • Mama Jacq’s green marinade




Peel, wash and cut into four depending on size of potatos. Boil water with two pinches of salt. Add the potato to the boiling water and allow to cook. Then drain water from potato then add to chickpea curry whilst its simmering.


Step 1: Season chickpea with pinch of salt and pinch of black pepper add 2 tablespoon of Mama Jacq’s green marinade and mix around together.

Step 2: Finely sliced or chopped 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves grated.

Step 3: Heat the pan with cooking oil the fry onion and garlic till softens then add 1 tablespoon of curry powder to the onions.

Step 4: Add the chickpea into the pan of onions add half a cup of water then add 1 vegetable stock cube. As the chickpea begin to soften, you will need to add more water until you get your suitable consistency.

Step 5: Allow chickpea to cook for about 10 mins then add boiled potato and leave to simmer.
